OMG!!! Time flies….
Last week was bank holiday in the UK because of the wedding, the Royal Wedding, so we couldn’t write a Friday Cupcake post… sorry followers!!!
BUT… to compensate you all, today we are going to do two posts about cupcake topping and recipes ideas.
The first we wanted to share with you is one of our chocolate cupcake recipe…mmmmm… sounds DELICIOUS, doesn’t it?
The ingredients you need to cook chocolate cupcakes are:

- Two cups of flour.
- One teaspoon baking soda
- Two cups of brown sugar
- Around ½ cup of butter (I recommend unsalted butter)
- One egg
- 1 Teaspoon of vanilla extract
- ¼ cup whole milk
- Three chocolate bars to be melted
- Paper cupcake liners &/or muffin tin cups
- Love, love, love…
This is the proportion of the ingredients, if you want to double, simply multiply the ingredients by 2, 3, 4… !!!!!
Let’s start with the steps to make these chocolate cupcakes:
…Remember preheat the oven to 180°C /350°F

- Melt the chocolate in a pan: Just be careful not to burn it, so make it over a low flame.
- In a bowl, mix the next ingredients: flour, brown sugar and baking soda. It’s faster if you use an electric mixer.
- Add the butter in the bowl and stir the mixture is smooth.
- Add the egg, vanilla extract and the milk into the mix
- Chocolate time! Now, add the melted chocolate in the bowl and mix it with all other ingredients. The mixture has to look smooth.
Once you have all this steps done is time to fill the paper cupcake lines and/or muffin tin cups to about 1/3 inch from the top of the liner.
Bake until the ops feel firm. There is one trick to know when the cupcakes are ready: insert a toothpick in the centre of the cupcake until it comes clean, it’s about 25-30 minutes. READY!!!!
Let cupcakes cool down. If you have wire rack, you can put the cupcakes on it.
It’s up to you if you want to add any topping, for this reason in our next post we will write about cupcake topping ideas.
And… That’s all, YOU CAN ENJOY THE CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES!!!
Have a sweet weekend!!
