Cuddly Cupcakes

I know, I know… I was very busy that’s why I  hadn’t posted anything for a while but I  haven’t forgotten your or the cupcakes.

It’s been busy period at work as well as outside work and so I hadn’t been able to find the time to write a post until today(I don’t like to write when I’m in a hurry). In the last month I’ve had my family visiting me to the UL so I’ve been in charge of sight-seeing with them.

This Friday I wanted to share with you this Cuddly Cupcakes picture I took when I went to the Brighton Pier a few weeks ago.

I think these cuddly cupcakes are so sweet! I would like to have one sitting on my bed.

I don’t know why but I love this kind of decorating toys  on my bed. If I manage to get one, I’ll put it as a cupcake decoration. My  bedroom definitely needs one!

Sometimes feeling like a child makes you happier 🙂

Cupcakes Birthday Photos

Tomorrow I’m going holidays!! YAY

Today I was in the office and suddenly all the office started to sang “happy birthday to you…”:  candels and cupcakes became the main characters in the room (and also my red face, I was a bit shame…) Next Tuesday is my birthday and  they decided to celebrate today with strawberry and raspberry cupcakes at brunch time because i wont be here in my birthday.

It was also Katie birthday (is tomorrow). She and Ruth made really nice cupcakes. Acually both are amazing cake  and cupcake cooks.

Taking advantage of the situation I used again my new iPhone App instagram to share with all of you this beautiful and delicious cupcakes.

Raspberry Muffins or Cupcakes

Yesterday night I was at home and suddenly I remembered that this Saturday I have a party called “Cakes, tea & champagne”, so I decided to cook muffins with raspberry .

I checked the recipe that my Japanese friend gave me. After that I went to the kitchen to be sure that I had all the ingredients for some muffins for my party.

• 100 gr of butter
• 100 gr brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 150 gr flour
• 1 glass of raspberrys

• Preheat the oven 180 ºC

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The first step is to melt the butter until it gets like mayo (I did it with a fork) I think this is the worst part, but it has to be done!!!

Then, you can add the sugar and eggs  and beat it until it becomes uniform.

Once you have this mixture, add the flour little by little and do the mix without beating it. You should fold the blend if you want your muffins/cupcakes to raise.

Now you can add the raspberrys or other fruits. Feel free to try new things and tell us your experience.

Don´t forget to fill the cupcake molds with the mix and put the creation (the cupcakes) in the oven, around 20-25 minutes.

                 

You can enjoy the cooking while listening to some music!!!!!!!!

Cupcake handmade jewellery

I love hand crafting…

This weekend I made this cupcake necklace with fimo (a material similar to plasticine but that hardens after being in the oven for about 30 minutes at 110°C (230°F)).

I shaped the fimo into little cupcakes… I must admit that the first one I did looked a bit weird LOL but after a few tries, the results were good.

If you feel creative and want to cupcake accessories, remember to make a hole in the middle of the cupcake (it can be done      with a stick or toothpick) to pass the leather cord or whatever you want to use for the necklace.
